Traceability
We currently employ the services of a company called Agtrac who specialise in traceability systems in livestock.
We entered into a system with Agtrac in 2005, to help identify animals that were weaker and were struggling to fit our new biological system. Our five year plan was to weed out these animals and sell them before they lost condition. Now we have a stable base to start building a truly sustainable beef and lamb system.
Agtrac advice and technology has been invaluable. Without it we simply would have been flying blind and would not have made the progress as fast as we have.
