Organic vegetable's
We have just completed a permaculture design of 3 hectares of land looking on to Lake Wanaka.
The design was done by Ben Elms of Wastenot Wantnot Ltd Landscape designs and gives us a plan to follow, utilising existing natural features e.g. orchard trees and some native plantings. We have a dream of recreating the old Glendhu garden which used to supply the camping ground and station with fresh produce all year round. Our small garden and glasshouse is up and running, producing enough food for us, with surplus sold through our farm gate shop which we continue to improve. We have been lucky to employ the services of a local lady named Su Hoskin who along with her husband Simon have comprehensive training and knowledge of biodynamic and organic principles. Su has her grower profile in our shop and can also be viewed on the homepage.
